The Grumpy Old Men Jazz Band is dedicated to preserving the musical heritage of the big band era of the 1930's, '40's & '50's. We are (mostly) retired music teachers and musicians from the greater La Crosse area. Our performance repertoire rotates through a library of over 200 selections from Glenn Miller, Les Brown, Benny Goodman, George Gershwin, and many others from the swing era. This 16-piece big band maintains an active schedule performing for nursing and assisted living homes, senior centers, dances, charity events, public concerts, and concerts in the park series in La Crosse and surrounding communities. The Grumpy Old Men Jazz Band has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years.
